The Power of Passion

Making a Difference with JONDO

Why help? Why get involved? Why work to enrich anyone else’s life?

At JONDO, we believe the answer lies in passion—passion for life, passion for people, and a drive to make each day better than the last. Our engagement with various aid projects over the years has deepened our understanding of the human condition and highlighted the fundamental elements needed for a fulfilled life. In the midst of our busy lives, meeting deadlines and balancing budgets, it's easy to overlook the needs around us. But when we take the time to see and address these needs, we become part of something greater than ourselves, bringing a new dimension to our lives and a profound appreciation for our shared humanity.

Tackling Food Security and Creating Opportunities

Food security remains one of the most pressing concerns globally. Providing the means for people to sustain themselves creates a ripple effect of opportunities within their communities. Our involvement in outcome-driven aid projects has been a humbling experience.

Here are a few highlights from our journey over the past decade:

2015
Sustainable Farming in South Africa: Mr. Johan Liebenberg, JONDO sport USA LLC co-owner led a team to develop 52,000 acres in rural Northwest South Africa into 17 sustainable farms. We identified 21 aspiring farmers and over three years, we built solar-powered houses, drilled boreholes, installed solar pump systems, constructed dams, animal grazing camps, and working facilities. This transformation turned barren land into a livelihood for 21 individuals and their families.
2018
Supporting Rural Schools: Johan, with the help of his wonderful wife, addressed the needs of schools in the Magopa, Welgevonden, Goedgevonden, Tsetse, and other rural communities in South Africa. We provided essential supplies such as stationery and food, directly impacting the lives of students and their families.
2022-2023
Empowering Youth in Mozambique: Johan headed a project in Xai-Xai, Mozambique, with Agroset Lda. We educated the youth by bringing in experts in small farming operations and local businesses. Our aim was to create small-scale agri-entrepreneurs, enabling them to generate income using the methods taught in our courses.
2018 Onwards
Collaborating with Rapitse Montsho: Partnering with Rapitse Montsho, former cameraman to Nelson Mandela and a notable media figure, we have supported various Non-Profit organizations. Jondosport USA LLC works closely with Ratanang Community Projects NPC, focusing on helping young children and the elderly in rural communities.
